Turmeric isn’t like other dragons. She cannot fly and is allergic to fire and smoke. Being different gives her other skills and makes her special, although she does not realize this and dreams of nothing more than to be magic like other dragons. She loves reading and discovers that there is a book that can teach you magic so determined not to give up on her dream she starts to travel through worlds to find the book. Staying true to herself – despite what others think or believe – and not letting fear get in the way Turmeric learns that dreams come true in unexpected ways.
