Alex the Bat: ...and the Town Near the Lake

Alex the Bat: ...and the Town Near the Lake

This is a poetry book about friendship and acceptance, showing that all creatures, no matter how different or odd-looking, have their role in the ecosystem.

One night, Alex the Bat decides to visit the small town near his cave because he was lonely. He encounters a rabbit, a sheep and a cat, but all of them are either afraid or grossed out and chase him away.

But after he leaves, the town is infested with mosquitoes, moths and flies, which Alex kept at bay while living close by. Soon, the town learns just how important Alex is and rush to find him.
